The educational offer of the TAM – Tower Art Museum stems from the desire to create active experiences within the exhibition halls for schools of all levels, families and groups of all ages.

The immersive experience is held in the exhibition spaces that, due to the morphological conditions of the Sassi, are not easily accessible for persons with reduced mobility (PRM).

Contemporary art, although conventionally considered elitist and indecipherable, is capable of attracting visitors of all ages through its forms and colours; the meaning and the message of the works are mediated by sensory and participative experiences that that evoke the fun of playing in children and adults alike.

TAM with its works, through the playful experience and relationship, becomes a familiar space where one feels at ease, abandoning the now outdated idea of museums viewed as sacred and almost inviolable spaces.

All itineraries start from the museum ticket office, in Via Ridola 13.

“È andato tutto bene? – Everything went fine?”

A narrative journey between past and present, discovering symbols and characters

The group is introduced to the exhibition with a short presentation of the activities and a video in the cinema room set up inside the space. The video creates a short-circuit between past and present, and in this atmosphere visitors are then led inside the “Torre del Capone” spaces.

The journey continues in the exhibition rooms: a house with a dual nature, eleven flags, a long swirl of events from Italy’s common imagination and dozens of protagonists to recognise and try to catch in order to ask ourselves: are we the ones who build our past? Is it the past that shapes the present? A varied collection of symbols and suggestions to reuse in the creation of your very own personal flag on paper and in the 2D reconstruction of your bedroom.

The workshop activities are calibrated based on the age of the participants.

Families and groups

Everything went fine, an exhibition by Geometric Bang

Guided tour

A dynamic itinerary through the spaces of the TAM, discovering the installations of Geometric Bang. Various symbols of the past coexist with contemporary and interactive installations, to discover and explore in an always experiential and dialogic visit, in which the individual is stimulated to discuss and reflect in the informal dimension of the group.

Workshop

The TAM also offers workshops for families and groups. The activities, proposed and agreed upon when booking, are customised and calibrated according to the age of the participants and the needs of the group.
